You're My Summer
Album Cover Design • 2023
For my Fundamentals of Type & Image class, we were asked to design an album cover for a specific genre of music. I chose topical house music from K-pop. You're My Summer is an album designed to capture the music's summery sound.
This project is not affiliated with any of the group's that are featured in this album/playlist.
01
Vinyl Album Design
Our assignment was to design an album cover that can also be printed and used as a vinyl cover for the the "album" we curated.
02
K-Pop Album Design
Since my album is from a subgenre in K-pop, I designed an album preview graphic that is commonly found within the K-pop industry for new album releases. It is styled after typical K-pop album infographics.
03
Physical Album
As part of this project, I designed all of the various assets found in K-pop albums and then created physical copies. This includes the outbox, CD and CD sleeve, poster, photobook, and photocards.
